How is One App with many Domains done

Hello,

I am new to .Net, so I am not sure what is this feature called where One application is servicing many unique domain names with their own data, I would llike to know where can I find information on how to incorporate this in my project.

I have the need to service more than one domain with one application code and database. Each domain would be different sites but would use the same code just like DotNetNuke.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Walter

Re: How is One App with many Domains done

hmm.. why not just use DNN... and have all the hard work done for you. There are not many things that can't be done with DNN.

Anyway, upon start of every request, dnn decides based on the requested domain name what portal to serve. Once this initial decission process is finished, the skin is loaded, and the proper page set is loaded from the db...

cheers,

erik
