Limited Portal Space 2GB

Have any person a idea how can remove the 2GB-Portal-Space-Limit from DNN, this limit exist in different versions of dnn.below the Error-Message when you have about 2GB in your portal.

Error-Message:

Error: File Manager is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Value was either too large or too small for an Int32. ---> System.OverflowException: Value was either too large or too small for an Int32. at System.Convert.ToInt32(Int64 value) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalController.GetPortalSpaceUsed(Int32 PortalId) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.FileSystem.FileManager.UpdateSpaceUsed() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.FileSystem.FileManager.BindFileList() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.FileSystem.FileManager.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Re: Limited Portal Space 2GB
That's quite some portal space used...

As far as I can see this could only be solved by changing the return type of GetPortalSpaceUsed to int64, but when you've done that, there will probably be some more places to change...

I guess portal space is limited to 2^31.

Re: Limited Portal Space 2GB

Thank you for your response.

We have rewritten specified files, recompile DNN and remove this limit. We compile in the next 14 days also DotNetNuke.dll for other DNN Versions.

Thank you.

Re: Limited Portal Space 2GB
You might want to make notice of this problem at http://support.dontnetnuke.com/ : it might get fixed in the core at some point...

Re: Limited Portal Space 2GB
Hello,

I've also come across the problem and used the fix specified at: http://codegalaxy.com/Default.aspx?tabid=67

This has sorted the FileManager problem, but whenever I go to an area with a drop down box / upload link in a module, or for instance in Admin / Site Settings / Upload logo, I get an error and can not upload any files.

Did you also get this error?

I've now moved some of the files off the portal, so the size is 1.4GB, but the problem still occurs, is this related to the 2GB size problem, or is it a much more serious problem? - Any advice appreciated.
