Problem with editLink Hyperlink on EditURL parameters in .ascx file
I have the whole page working, but I want to send the user to "ServiceEdit" key instead of "Edit" key so I fifured to use the overload, instead of -->  NavigateUrl='<%# EditURL("Service_ID, DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "Service_ID")) %>'
I put in NavigateUrl='<%# EditURL("Service_ID, DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "Service_ID"), "ServiceEdit") %>'
and I keep getting error <page_name> is currently unavaitable, with farther exceptions that No accessible overloaded '<pagename>_ascx.EditURL' can be called with these arguments without a narrowing conversion.
Now, the key definately works sinc eI can call it by itself if I am not trying to pass the other arguments, however I can not even load the page.
Any guidance would be appreciated,
noorbakhsh

Re: Problem with editLink Hyperlink on EditURL parameters in .ascx file
I figured it out. this is in VB and all I had to do was to add .ToString() to the DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "ServiceID").ToString(), ...
Maybe this will help others.

YES!!  Thank you very much.  That is exactly the solution I needed to my two-day old problem.

I love these forums!!  (I should have looked here first, I suppose)
