global javascript reference without modifying the core

Hi all,

I want a javascript function to be called after every page has finished loading. This function will bind another javascript function to the onclick event of every input tag on the page. I know i can achieve this by modifying the portal's default.aspx page but i dont want to do that. I also dont want to modify every module.

Is there any other way.

An urgent reply would be more than helpful.

Thanks in Advance,

Hameer Saleem

Re: global javascript reference without modifying the core

You can do it via following two ways,

1) Add a Text/Html module on a page (of the portal which needs global javascript reference) and put the javascript block in the Text/Html module. Configure the module via module settings to be displayed on every page.

               OR

2) Create a custom skin (may be, by modifying an existing skin) and add the Script block in the skin's html file.Apply the skin on the portal which needs a global javascript reference.

Hameer Saleem
