dynamic forms

Hello

I wonder if I can create a module that creates and configures a form to be displayed to the user with this particularity: The form creation generates a database table, and the form fields creation and edition adds/alters/drops columns of that table.

Is this possible?

Thank you

Re: dynamic forms

This should not be a problem to create a module to work this way.  The DataProvider would simply need to query the table schema to generate the form dynamically and then issue the proper DDL commands to create/modify the table to match the form as it changes.  A drawback to implementing a dynamic form this way would be that the deletion of a form field would result in a column being deleted and historical data would be lost.  A clever database schema could be created to describe and store the data in a dynamic form without the data loss problem.
