error using webservice.htc behavious in dotnetnuke module !!
Hi,
I'm trying to use the client side webservice.htc behavious in one of my modules to manipulate an activeX component but I havent been sucessful in doing it .. This is what I did until now.
Placed my webservice code in /desktopmodules/mymodule/services
placed the javascript file in /desktopmodules/mymodule/include
created my module and on the ascx page I added
**filtered** language="javascript" src ='<%Page.ResolveURL("~/desktopmodules/mymodule/include/myjs.js")%>' > at the bottom to access the javascript functions

everything uptill here works fine .. and I can call functions from my javascript .. the problem is when I add the webservice.htc behaviour to my application.. This is what I do :
on the ascx file I add

and within the javascript I instantiate the service as follows:
var service;
service=document.getElementById("service");
service.useService(/services/myservice.asmx?WSDL","myws");

I keep getting an error saying "object doesn’t support this property or method"

I suspect this is because the javascript is not able to find the webservicebehaviour file webservice.htc in the location where it is looking for ..
Do I need to change the url for webservice.htc to something like this

Or maybe the "service.useService()" function in the javascript is not able to bind with the webservice properly again it could be because the URL of the webservice is not being resolved properly ..
Can some one suggest something please
Thanks and regards,
