Admin Tab
I have set up a dnn system where a user is automatically authenticated against a database as they access the site based upon their ip address. If they want to administer the site they then access the signin page and login as a different user. This redirects them back to the main page but the admin tab does not appear. Only when you refresh the page or click on a menu link to another page does the admin menu appear. I can't see how to get the admin menu to appear straight away. Thanks

Re: Admin Tab
The roles are cached in a cookie so if you have modified the login, have you correctly "cleared" the roles cookie.

Or when you say redirect, is this through a Response.Redirect or some other mechanism, because the role cookies are only loaded on each new Request.

Re: Admin Tab
Well I think I have cleared the cookies OK because when i refresh the page it recognises that the user is now an administrator. I do use the response.redirect. Should I use another technique for redirecting ?
