debugging in VWD 2005
Hi, I followed the sample here: http://forums.asp.net/thread/1114393.aspx to build a module, but can't debug it: The breakpoint will not currently be hit. No sybmols have been loaded for this document. How to enable the debugging., Please help.

Re: debugging in VWD 2005

I suppose you refer to debugging your own module. There's a setting in web.config:

    <!-- set debugmode to false for running application -->
    <compilation debug="true" strict="false">

And you have to hit F5 (and not Ctl-F5).

WithVisual Studio: when this debug setting is wrong, it tells me .

Re: debugging in VWD 2005
    I don't know about the original poster, but I can't get it to debug the DNN modules.  VS 2005 uses the shipped DLLs rather than building them from the source code.  I don't know how to tell it not to do that.

Re: debugging in VWD 2005
Thanks. I can debug now after I create a new project and a new module. I think somehow the dll cache somewhere, can't figure it out.
