Accessing PortalSettings from SchedulerClient
Modified By Colm Ryan on 4/5/2006 12:51:14 PM)

Any ideas on how best to get access to a PortalSettings object from within a SchedulerClient module? I've been trying to get at the HomeDirectoryMapPath value for a portal from the scheduler client but it seems to be out of context. Any ideas?

Re: Accessing PortalSettings from SchedulerClient
Here's how I do it in C# (this requires that you know the portal ID in advance though... haven't figured out how to get that in the context of a schedule item):

            DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalController oCtlrP = new DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalController();
            DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalInfo oInfoP = oCtlrP.GetPortal(portalID);
            string sMapPath = oInfoP.HomeDirectoryMapPath;
