DNN 4.03 or 4.1 Should I start or wait
Hi,

I've seen it posted that a beta release will come out soon (not for the general public) and that 4 weeks later there should be a release.

If I'm just starting out is it worth developing modules for 4.03. Will they still work with 4.1 or will there be breaking changes?

Thanks,

Josh

Yes, the Core team goes to great lengths to ensure compatability with modules from earlier versions.

If you're not modifying the core, you most likely won't need to worry about breaking changes. If you're asking whether to start development/testing, I'd say go ahead and start. Depending on how much you have to test, you probably want to wait to deploy into your production environment until after you've upgraded to 4.1, tho.
