I wish I had this all documented, but I'd suggest you take a "plug-in" approach to development. I am referring to the idea of bundled modules. I haven't seen this anywhere, but have used it on several projects where multiple modules share the same domain. It just makes more sense that way. The idea goes completely away from the way module development is taught in the guides, tho, so a brief explanation isn't really all that simple.

Beyond that, you can use controls from other modules by just creating a new module control that points to the user control. Ok... I used "control" one too many times, there. Basically, either setup a module control in the module definitions or manually create the link. That's probably the easiest answer I can give you without getting too deep.

I will try to blog my plug-in concepts, but can't really say when that will happen.

Thanks. Your instructions met the solution I found to perform this (simply registering the control in the module definitions).

I was looking for the best practices in this area but it seems it's all too new...

Ayway, I am looking forward to seeing your plug-in concept. And, I suppose that a lot of people that need to build a more complex functionality (with several database entities for example...) will probably also like to know all the possibilities to perform these links.
