Which tables?

Hey!

I have created 3 custom modules using DNN 4.3.4 and Start Kit in visual studio 2005.

Once everyday I want a task on my MS Sql Serve 2005 start coping data from the tables I created for my custom modules over to the tables for the Annoncement module.

So my question is this:
Which tables do I have to insert records into in order to create a post displayed in a annoncement module?

Re: Which tables?

Maybe obvious... but isn't there a Annoncements table in the database?

if that is not satisfactory what you can do is trace what happens in the database when you add a new annoucement (SQLProfiler or going from code up to the db)

Thanks,

Re: Which tables?

I highly recommend you look at the ERD diagrams at http://dotnetnuke.com/About/Documentation/ProjectDocuments/tabid/478/Default.aspx

DNN 3.0.12 ERD in PDF may be out of date for you, but it is formatted quite nicely. And, yes the announcements table is in the top left section of the diagram
