Extending the core PortalModuleBase?

I've been trying to find  a way to add a link to PortalModuleBase, preferably by the print button on the bottom or in the title bar near the help button.

I'm not exactly sure where to start, but Professional DotNetNuke says PortalModuleBase.vb is located here... <webroot>\components\modules\,  but all I see is the folder ResourceInstaller.

I was going to add a field to in the Modules where to start?

Re: Extending the core PortalModuleBase?

PortalModulBase.vb is a class, you will find it as part of the core inside the source package at \library\components\modules\

It contains no visual aspects, and no buttons.

Are you sure that you don't want to alter a module container of you skin?

Re: Extending the core PortalModuleBase?

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.  I wasn't sure what was making the calls to the database, looking up the title and the help file urls and dynamically sticking them in the module's container.  I suppose it is the container's skin - that makes since. I will look there first.

Thank you, Sherry
