Permission problems with inter module communication (IMC)ave a 

Hi.

I have a menu module and a display module. I want the menu to send infromation to the display menu when the buttons are pushed. The menu module uses the dnntree. It works fine when both modules have read and write permissions but when I log out and try to use the modules with only read permission, the display module doesn't seem to recieve any information at all. Is there a solution to this?
