Ask about passing value between 2 module!

Hi all,

I'm developing module on DNN 4.6.2, using C#2005.

I have 2 modules in the same page and I want to pass values from one to another. With a simple data, I can archive this by using query string. But with an object, that seems to have other way. So I want to ask: is there another way to do this?

Please help me! Thanks in advance!

Re: Ask about passing value between 2 module!

there is technique called IMC (inter module communication) built into DNN, have a look into the Module Developers Guide available from Documentation page in Resources menu above!

Re: Ask about passing value between 2 module!

Hi Sebastian,

I have another question. We use IMC for communication between modules. But with the user controls within the same module, how should we use to pass value between them?

Thanks in advance!
