Ajax calendar extender localization problem

I'm using the calender extender but it always displays the day names in english although the default portal language is spanish and the current user language is also spanish.

How can I do it so that it displays the day names in the appropiate culture instead of always in english?

Thanks in advance.

fixed it with:

Protected Sub Page_Init(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Init
            If DotNetNuke.Framework.AJAX.IsInstalled Then
                DotNetNuke.Framework.AJAX.RegisterScriptManager()
                DotNetNuke.Framework.AJAX.SetScriptManagerProperty(Page, "EnableScriptGlobalization", New Object() {True})
                DotNetNuke.Framework.AJAX.SetScriptManagerProperty(Page, "EnableScriptLocalization", New Object() {True})
            End If
        End Sub
