I am binding a single value into a listbox and need to get the bound value from the 1st index position and into a label.  How can I get a value from within the 1st index of the listbox, without selecting it?

If I correctly understand what you're trying to do, this should work:

Label1.Text =ListBox1.Items(0).Text          'Note: I would also add error checking to make sure that there actually is a 1st item (0 index position)
