ASPNET_Membership and LoginView control / PostBack and Callback problems

Hi,

I am running into weird occurances with the loginview control.  On my previous site the loginview control was used with the ASPNET_Memebership provider to determine if a user was logged in or not; when we brought this over to DotNetNuke it appears to be having problems with the authentication on PostBacks and CallBacks.  The control works fine in determining whether the user is logged in or not when the page is initially loaded, but as soon as a button is clicked causing a post back or a call back, it no longer considers the user logged in (goes to the anonymous template). Page permissions allow everyone.

Has anyone else run into a problem like this?
