error attaching vb class to objectdatasource

I posted this message about a week ago but did not receive any replies.  I really need help with this problem.  Does anyone have any ideas?

I am using DNN 4.8.2.  I have created a module using the DNN compiled module template in Visual Studio 2008.  The controller.vb class is put into a components directory. When I try to attach the controller.vb class to the objectdatasource I get an error saying that the class has to be in the app_code directory, How would I get that to work

Re: error attaching vb class to objectdatasource

When writing a compiled module, all of the source code that will be compiled into your .dll needs to be in the App_Code folder, so the solution is as simple as moving your .vb file from your Components folder to the App_Code folder.

Right-click on your project, then select Add->Add ASP.NET Folder and select App_Code to create the folder if it doesnt exist.

Re: error attaching vb class to objectdatasource

When I open my module in the solution explorer, and then try to add-> Add ASP.Net folder, App_code is not one of the choices.  What else can I try?

Thanks Judith
