Why is the v13wstat3 empty after postback?

I have a DNN module with a repeater control that is databound on Page_Load and works just fine. When I perform a postback however the control loses all it´s items. Now I could ofcourse databind it on every postback but this would generate unnecesarry overhead and I would like it to retain it´s data. The control is set to enable v13wstat3.

I tried v13wstat3.Add("data", myData.toArray()) in Page_Load and Page_Init but it keeps returning empty on postback. Am I overlooking something? Can this not be done?

Can you try with DataGrid or DataList instead? If they have the same problem, then something strange. But think it should fix the problem.

The problem is independent of the control used. I have manually added data to the v13wstat3 but that also turns up empty after postback.

Re: Why is the v13wstat3 empty after postback?

I have been doing some more testing and have additional info. I created a simple module with a repeater and a button that posts back. If I place it on the same page where I was having the problems it retains it´s v13wstat3 as it should. This leaves me to conclude the problem is in the other module. I have been trying to figure out what could be causing it but am unsuccessfull. The other module is a skinobject, could this be the reason? I can convert it to a module to try out this theory but does anybody know if v13wstat3 is maintained for skinobjects?

Re: Why is the v13wstat3 empty after postback?

Ok. I have converted the skinobject into a module and the v13wstat3 is maintained without problem. Is this a know limitation to implementations of skinobjects or am I missing somthing in my skinobject definition for it to maintain v13wstat3?
