Module view displays in tables
Hi I wrote a FocusBlock module so that a user can add a block title, image, blurb and link url. I have created the output to create divs in the ItemTemplate so that these blocks can float next to each other. The problem is that when DNN generates the page view, it creates a table and puts each FocusBlock in a new table row which is causing the blocks to appear below each other. Is there a work around to not display these items in a table without scratching around in the core of DNN? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks Ray

Re: Module view displays in tables

Ray, I think that when you refer to "DNN core" you should be saying current skin.

DotNetNuke should not be injecting any tables on to the output AFAIR. The tables you are seeing should be comming from the skin. Could that be your issue?

Re: Module view displays in tables
Thanks for the reply, but the skin only contains div elements...There are no tables in the skin at all.. This is why it is so confusing..... I can post the generated output if that would help.. Thanks

Re: Module view displays in tables

What about the container being used by the skin - the table has to be coming from somewhere.

Re: Module view displays in tables

Ray, I'm surprised about this, and if this is true I'm not aware of it. Please can you post the generated html (parts of it) and also discuss how the skin and containers look like?
