Create Portals via API or web service

Is there any way to create a Portal, and add/remove users from an external API or web service?

Re: Create Portals via API or web service

Hi Simon,

Although I don't have any direct experience with it, you might take a look at Michael Washington's IWeb project (http://www.codeplex.com/IWeb).  I believe it is designed with exactly such use cases in mind.

Re: Create Portals via API or web service

I am following the series of blog posts on this blog: http://dnchannel.blogspot.com/2008/07/programmatically-creating-dotnetnuke.html, that talks about how to create a portal using the DotNetNuke API. I think you should be able to wrap the technique shown in the posts into a web service. Let me know if you need more information.
