Dotfuscation of Modules

In order to make it harder to reverse-engineer .NET code with utilities like Reflector, some commercial companies make use of the Dotfuscator tool.

Is this compatible with DNN modules - i.e. will dotfuscated modules work with DNN? I'd guess not, since I believe that they need to be parsed at run-time or when added to a page??

Presumably this could be a disincentive to commercial development of modules for sale?

Re: Dotfuscation of Modules

dotnetnuke has no issue with obfusticated modules as all obfustication does is rename variables/method/events etc. to difficult to follow ones, and refactors code whilst retaining meaning i.e. changing method calls to GOTO's etc. It's still perfectly valid .net code, and doesn't need to be parsed -all obfustication does is make it hard for people to copy your code.
