Upgrade Screen no Matter what??

Hi all,

I have done something to my DNN site and I need some help. I started with version 4.8.2 and then later (a couple of weeks ago) upgraded to 4.8.4. I have started a new module project (WAP) with VS 2008 and got to the point where I can start debugging it. I set my project up to lanch the main DNN site when it is being debugged. As the application loads I get the standard DNN upgrade screen with the following inf0rmation:

Upgrading DotNetNuke

Current Assembly Version: 04.08.02

Current Database Version: 04.08.04

Upgrade Status Report

00:00:00.015 - Upgrading to Version: 4.8.2
00:00:00.015 - Perf0rming General Upgrades

Upgrade Complete

Click Here To Access Your Portal

From this screen I can not do anything but go to this screen again. If I click the link at the bottom it just goes back here, if I stop and start in debug mode again (from either my module project, or the main DNN project) it goes back here, or if I simply open a web browser and enter localhost\dnnNichebuilder it goes back here??

Any ideas?

Thanks Todd

Re: Upgrade Screen no Matter what??

The first thing you need to do is go into your Web.Config and change the AutoUpgrade AppSetting to False.  Following that, you should be able to access the site again, and/or see the actual application level error.  If you get back to your site, go to your Admin Menu > Event Log to see if there are any errors to illustrate what has been happening.
