How to get PortalSettings?

Hello

I need to get CurrentUserID, CurrentUserID IsSuperUser property and AdministratoRoleName.

How i can get this values from PortalSettings in class without PortalModuleBase?

I got only PortalID.

Re: How to get PortalSettings?

I finally found the thread where I had answered a similar question a few months back:

Re: How to get PortalSettings?

Thanks, but this did not help me

DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalController.GetCurrentPortalSettings returns null

also HttpContext.Current.Items["PortalSettings"] is null.

I got only PortalID, someone can help me?

Re: How to get PortalSettings?

Can you explain a bit more about your situation? Are you trying to obtain PortalSettings in a utility class being instantiated in a DNN module control/ or in a class - totally outside of a DNN page request? If the latter, then the current UserID, current PortalSettings object, etc. will be undefined.

Re: How to get PortalSettings?

The second situation - class totally outside of a DNN page request, but i got current System.Web.HttpApplication.

One public class inheriting from System.Web.IHttpModule and one from System.IO.Stream.

DotNetNuke version: 4.8.4.
