How to create a new module and how to customize existing module 

Hi

I am new to DNN. I tried using the tutorials and download, but still I am not able to come conclusion about the module creation and customization.

If any one help me in the following

1.how to create a new module in DNN ?

2. how to customize the existing module?

step by step procedure will help me more...! I am using DNN 4.08.04

Hi currently it is having the module development tutorial for VS 2008 and Framework 3.5 (like using LINQ and SQL)

But I am using VS 2005, DNN 4.08.04

I have installed the DNN source.. I donow.. after that from where to start the new module developemnet...

Please help!

either use the tutorials for "Simple module using DAL+", which is labeled to be outdated, which is not correct.

another option is to download the started kit, install the templates included and start development accordingly.
