How to remove querystring from url

I have a custom module adaptation of the events module.  Note - I can't use any postback code on the main view page.

I need to remove the querystring name/value from the URL pretty much right after I'm done rendering the first page view.

please help a dummy!

not sure what you are asking - post a string of before and after - you can do a huge amount with NavigateURL and EditURL if you think about what you are trying to get

Re: How to remove querystring from url

From a Flash map I'm passing a querystring parameter into my custom module.  It works great.  The problem is when you navigate around the module into several different views (think events calendar) - the querystring stays in the url.  I need to use the querystring coming into the module and losing it after the first page render.
