DNN+Ajax related problem?
Modified By Jeff Herington on 8/8/2008 10:19:36 AM)

Hello,

I believe I am having an Ajax related issue specific to DNN 4.8; I am testing an Ajax application that I will host in our DNN via IFrame. The app is Zimbra - a linux based email system. Anyway, strange things happen when a certain popup on Zimbra comes up - normally the screen behind the popup will turn a sort of opaque (like a film is placed between the popup the the main screen). But now when I open the popup the screen behind it goes completely white and you can't see anything. If I close the popup everything goes back to normal.

I have tested this Zimbra install outside of DNN (within an IFrame) and it does not do this? I have tested this inside DNN with Firefox and Safari and this problem does not happen in either of these browsers. Only in my IE7 and only when run in DNN??

Any trouble-shooting tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Re: DNN+Ajax related problem?,

Hi Jeff,

Even i am trying to use ifram with and inside the iFram i will have ajax Panel attached, Can you please let me know how can we achive the process.

And one more thing.  Actually i need to implement the Ajax Popup ligin window kind of stuff in DNN, so for this i tried to use admin/skins/login.ascx file to enable the ajax but its a skin file so when ever i tried to create some ajax control on it. ask for register scriptblock, and i do register the block then its says its already register i cannot do it again... its just creating the complaxitiy to me... please let me know if you find some turned arround.
