dotnetnuke starter kit->developing modules using c#

Hi

 i want to develop module using c#.i make a sample module but it has some wrong parts.

Module has only two textbox, a label and a button.I want only add two number and show the result in the label.İf I use this modul when i log in host or admin it runs perfect.But when i am unregister user or any user who is not administer,it does'nt do anything.when i press button,textboxes are wiped away so module does'nt produce anything.

How can i solve this problem?

If you know,PLEASE HELP ME!

I am waiting for your answers.

Re: dotnetnuke starter kit->developing modules using c#

this is a module caching issue: the default module template is set up to cache html output of the module for unauthenticated users. You can disable that for a specific module instance by setting the cache time to 0 in the module's settings, or you can disable it for all module instances by setting the default cache time to -1 in the module definitions. Also, check the dnn file for the cache time node, and set it to -1 if you are planning to install your module on other dnn installations

Re: dotnetnuke starter kit->developing modules using c#

Thanks for your answer.i did what you say but it has still same problem.

(you say---> log in host->HOST->module definitions->edit module definition(exp:hesaplama(it is my module's name)) ->default cache time->set 0 or 1 ->update cache properties.it is what i understand from your explaination)

what else can i do ? any more idea?

Re: dotnetnuke starter kit->developing modules using c#

thank you ErikVB.

i saw only 0 and 1 then i recognize you said -1.

I set cache time -1 now it hasn't got any problem.
