How to modify a module 

Can i use vs.net 2008 to modify the repository module? If now what version do I need. Also do i have to have dnn install or source to do it

Michael, please review the pinned post in the Repository module on how to make code changes.

No, you cannot use VS2008. You do not need the dnn source, just a working DNN 3.3.5 or greater installtion ( NOT a dnn 4.X .. the Repository module is a .net 1.1 module and cannot be loaded into a .net 2.0 application such as dnn version 4 )
