code inside the login event sequence?

I have a module that works off of SQL server to record the user’s favorite page (tabID). I want to make it such that when they login to the portal if their is no URL redirect (like when they go to a page that requires them to be logged in) to redirect them to the favorite page they selected and stored in the DB.

So if the portal is logging them in to the site in order to display a particular secure page then show them that, if they are doing a normal login then take them to the favorite page (tabID).

Where do I code this functionality?

Thank you

Well you have a few options, you can look into the specific auth provider if you want to modify it.  /DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/DNN for the default provider.  Otherwise you have the actual login page /Admin/security/ I belive.
