Editor for HTML / TEXT Module in DNN 4.9

Hello,

I have installed DNN 4.9 source package and the appropriate Oracle Data Provider to use with an Oracle 10g DB. I noticed that, after adding the HTML / TEXT Module, the Editor is not displayed where I can add some text / images for that module.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Rajes

Re: Editor for HTML / TEXT Module in DNN 4.9

Rajesh - check your web.config and see if something has changed there. The Oracle dataprovider comes with a modified version of web.config which is specific to Oracle - could maybe some changes have been made there?

I have checked the standard install and confirmed that the FCKEditor is showing up correctly so there is definetely something different in your environment.

Re: Editor for HTML / TEXT Module in DNN 4.9

Hi Sanjay,

The only change that I have made to the web.config file is the data base connection sting details.

Could you please give me any pointers to what I may need to check?

Thanks,

Rajesh

Re: Editor for HTML / TEXT Module in DNN 4.9

At this point, I'd recommend you get a new copy of the DotNetNuke source (4.9.0) and re-install the oracle dataprovider from fresh. I'm not sure what's going on in your environment but I am not able to reproduce this at any of my other clients who are using 4.9.0.
