form submission
I'm looking for a way to allow users to submit a form and have the data saved to a db table, allow them to update the data, and then be able to run reports on the tables that I have created.  I've seen a few that allow form submission but the save to db saves XML fragments rather than pure data.  I'd like to save each form value to a column in a table and maybe build an admin interface to allow manipulation of the data.

I'm moving from a java shop, so this is all totally new to me.  If there isnt a module for it, maybe there's a tutorial about how to build one somewhere?
thx,
M@

Re: form submission
Bump...

Is anyone even going to give me a clue as to where to get started?  I'm looking at some asp code that looks like it might work, but I am wondering if it's as easy as dropping it in a new directory in the desktop modules directory, and adding module definitions to it.

Help?  Anyone?  PLEASE?  I've got about 10 different projects they want me to work up and if I can figure out the best way to approach it, I'll be doing well.  All I want to do is build a form in Visual Studio that will allow me to insert data into a table I've made already.  I'm using another module to view the data.

Thx,
M@
