Code behind files in the starter kit? where are they? why are they still refered?

I am uzing the DNN 4.0.3 starter kit

So why is it that the ASCX files do not have their code behind files with them? wild guess: to minimize source in a binary release.

I noticed the classes the ASCX files are supposed to inherit from are compiled in the assemblies. How did you get codebehinds to be included in assemblies?

Why do ASCX files still have a codebehind atribute when there is no codebehind? visual studio flags this as an error
