Read Only Module

I would like to make a custom module of mine display like the "UsersOnline" module does--without the pencil icon at the bottom of the container.  Can someone please tell me how to make it so there is no pencil icon that will show up at the bottom ?

Regards,

Chuck

Re: Read Only Module
All you need to do is create a copy of the container you're using without an action button for the links.

note, that the pencil is only shown to people with write access to that module.
