Re: Making Module

don't be shy for your language, there are other users of foreign tongue around as well (I am from Germany for example).

How to start creating modules depends on the tools you use - either VS2003 and ASP 1.1. for DNN 3 and 4 or VS2005/Visual Web Developer Express for DNN 4 only.

There are tutorials like this one and in the documentation pack is included a whitepaper called module developement guide. Besides there are video tutorials at http://www.traincert.net

Re: Making Module
maybe you need to explain, what you mean with document flow. documents are stored as files and have database associated Db records, where metadata can be stored, this can contain a status. you can also use a table for logging status changes and you can define workflows either fix in your module or configuration driven, so you can easily alter the workflow. This is all possible by programming, although you don't get specific support for this by the framework.

example: i send a email/file to a buddy of mine and that budde send the file/email to some one else
whit the document flow i can see to who that mail/file was send

i have looked for it ad first
