Post Registration Callback
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you want some action to occur when a user registers on a DNN site, you pretty much have to modify the core don't you? Is there any type of post registration callback that I could hook up to my own custom module in order to do other actions. This would be handy for something such as the blog module if you wanted to automatically set up a blog for a user when they register rather than making the user create their own blog after registration.

Thanks for any input.

Re: Post Registration Callback
AFAIK, there is currently no such option, but check Shaun's Blog for the DNN 3.3/4.1 changes, he mentions the new event queue.

Re: Post Registration Callback
This has been discussed before, but hasn't been looked at in detail. John Mitchell did a bunch of work on the Event Queue for the 3.3/4.1 release and brought up the topic of adding additional events a month or so back. Because of time constraints, tho, nothing has been changed. I suggest you add this in Gemini, if it's isn't there already. This will ensure it's considered for future releases. I completely agree with you, tho, and will try to push for the addition of this and maybe a few other events to trigger scheduled items off of.
