Seperating modules for deployment

Hi,

I have created couple of modules for DNN 4 using VS 2005 and starter kit solution.  I want to distribute the modules to another DNN portal. All my modules App_Code components was build in one dll file I suppose in App_Code.dll.

How to separate each module in to its own dll file like MyCompany.Modules.Mod1.dll, MyCompany.Modules. Mod2.dll…?

Re: Seperating modules for deployment
Modules should be developed as class libraries and not web projects. Creating libraries negates the need for a work-around.

Re: Seperating modules for deployment

Well actually you cannot (at least I havent seen a way till now) - simply because both of your modules are a part of the same project (same website).

I'm working on a development solution which will help you with this (it provides you a diffrent way of developing modules) - actually the solution itself is already done, I'm currently in the middle of writting a tutorial for it.

till then, you can seperate modules over diffrent web sites to get the desired effect
