DNN child portals management

Hello,

I am bulding a parent portal that will include quite a few child portals.

I have some questions on how to implement its functionality:

  1. I would like to be able to import modules that i have already created in the parent portal,  into the child portals. That way i will not have to update the content on every portal.
  2. I would also like to automatically add a new user page to the current child portal when its admin creates a new user.

Is there a similar effort towards these functionalities or i will have to implement everything by code

Thank u

kostas

Re: DNN child portals management
  1. you can do this by export/import, if the module support the necessary interface, but you cannot just refer to a module of another portal, as you can within a portal
  2. have a look for available 3rd party modules, e.g. from www.smart-thinker.com
