CBO & collections

Hi,
CBO don't fill my object 100% correct because my object also contains
object composition (reference to other object).
So, i have to re-iterate over the objects collection and the IDataReader
and fix the object inside. This, of course, add overhead to my module.
My questions are:
1. Is there some way to "guide" CBO how to composite object?
2. Does CBO expose some event when filling object so i can interfere and
composite the object?

Thanks.

Re: CBO & collections

This is what CBO does:

  1. Use reflection to determine all the Read/Write properties of your info object
  2. Check to see if those properties are defined in the datareader
  3. assign the datareader values to those properties

CBO uses shared functions, so there is no way to add event handlers
CBO supports value types, enums and strings

You do not have to use CBO in your code, it is just a tool included in DNN to lessen the code needed to write, It looks like you better write a custom instantiater function (datareader => objects)
