DotNetNuke 4.8.3 is now available for public download:

This security release contains solutions for 4 security vulnerabilities reported to us in the past 2 weeks. As per our policy, you can read the security bulletins on our Security Policy page:

After dogfooding the package over the weekend and experiencing no compatibility issues, we promoted it for public release. Yesterday, we decided it would be best to wait until Tuesday (today) to publish the release, as many business owners would not have been able to take advantage of the patch on the Memorial Day holiday, and we did not want to provide potential hackers with any additional opportunities to target DotNetNuke users.

I will be publishing a more detailed Blog later today which wraps up these security issues.

Big thanks you to all DNN developers for acting quickly. This version seems to work well on our servers, we have added it to our automated application installer library just 30 minutes ago and already have deployed 11 copies so far. A lot of people were waiting for this version to be released since Wednesday last week.

Hi Declic,

I believe there are a couple of additional security fixes being deployed with the 4.8.4 version.  I seem to recall reading that these issues are of "low" severity, but we'll likely know a lot more when the version is released.  According to Sebastian, this should be shortly.

Hopefully in 4.8.4 they will include the updates for the Documents and Survey modules that weren't included in the relase of 4.8.3.
