DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.NavigateURL

Hello everyone,

is there a way to use DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.NavigateURL() by specifying just the PageID and PortalID?

Cause at the moment it requires controlKey as well.

I just want to supply the page id and portal id and navigate to the constructed URL.

Thank you in advance!

M. Mourouti

Re: DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.NavigateURL

If you know the TabId you can just use NavigateUrl(##), you don't need to know the portal id.

As for requiring you to pass a controlkey, just put a blank string in there "" should work.

A blank string ("") will work, but string.Empty would work even better! ;)

Re: DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.NavigateURL

Hello,

thank you for your replies.

I think what i want to do is a bit different, i tried your suggestions but didn't work.

I want to navigate to a page of portal 1 while i am in portal 0.

When i use NavigateUrl, it tries to access the page through portal 0 (current portal) and the page is not found.

I did  find another way to construct the URL based on the portal, but without using NavigateUrl which would be ideal if it worked.

Thanks for the help,

M. Mourouti
