Frank, Puh-leeze. PowerDNN is hiring people to post nice things about them to this forum? Absurd.

That's exactly what's happening. Some people kept asking the same question in the forum even it has been answered by different core team members. This keeps pressure on dnn corp and make people think dnn corp is incompetent and didn't deal with the situation properl, although most people will know who is good guy and who is not if they read the full story.

I dunno, Frank ... I see a form member with a total of 10 posts sounding pretty concerned, but for the rest, it seems a fairly natural conversation. Some confusion, yes, but there is certainly nothing here that makes it a coup for PowerDNN and puts DNN core-corp in such a bad light, not at all. This is a natural phenomenom, not something well engineered by PowerDNN.

I do think the entire community is somewhat diminished by the means and manner of the whole thing, with entirely different kinds of criticism deserved on both sides. But I do not think there is any conspiracy on the part of PowerDNN to ... to do what, exactly? Nah ... there are folks defending them, and to some degree I did as well, because I didn't at all like the way things were handled in the forums from the DNN side. But I do think PowerDNN made some errors in judgment, and I don't see them deriving any particular benefit from this.

Out of curiosity, are you speaking for yourself or for your brand?

PowerDNN spit to water while all of us drink it. That's how I feel.

Re: Is DotNetNuke.com Insecure?

Can't believe I’m the first to suggest this.

I say everyone just throw back a few beers and go forward. E.g. mistakes were made and probably by anyone involved in the situation.

So, crack one open  enjoy and go back to solving problems.

Wow Frank

You must know a large amount about the guys at PowerDNN to make such strong comments against them.
