DotNetNuke Usability Forum is Needed...
Modified By Sebastian Leupold on 9/4/2008 3:24:25 AM)

I don't know where else to place this thread, but it would be nice to have a usability forum (distinct from the skinning forum).

Re: DotNetNuke Usability...

Do you mean skin usability or admin usability?

Re: DotNetNuke Usability...

Usability as it relates to the interactive or workflow portions of user interface (Not skins or presentation). Things such as, using buttons instead on links. For instance, natively, DNN uses links to submit forms, etc. This is the primary complaint that I get from users of our DNN intranet site. Buttons should be the default to submit forms, not links.

Sorry, I see your need, but I am against adding a forum for each subject, because it would make it more difficult to locate posts and keep track as well as to administrate (we currently have more than hundred public and private forums for various subjects). Please use Chat About It! or Configure it! forums to discuss your ideas, thank you!
