Please, how do I lock down accounts?
Modified By vollerworld on 6/19/2007 5:03:53 PM)

I REALLY need to be able to NOT allow users to change their passwords for a particular type of user on my portal.

Problem:  I need to have a single sign-on for a group of people (like people at a wedding) so they can all sign-on with the same user name and password.

But I can't have them changing the password!  This is like for a group photoshare from an event where people login with the event ID and event password.

How do I do this?

Re: Please, how do I lock down accounts?

For your situation I would remove the user skin object from your skin:

<dnn:USER runat="server" id="dnnUSER" />

so the user can't go into the user profile screen and hence can't change their password.
