Hey Frank,
As a developer I have been looking for an e-commerce product I can offer to my customer, I have a broad range of client from corporate to Mom and Pop who just want to make a sale. I have been looking for a DNN compatible solution for quite some time now and like what I see in your product.
Last year I had a client who needed a store front ASAP and they choose to use a non DNN product and paid $5000 for it and today it still does not work for them, they wrote that off and purchased a store from Lexicon. Needless to say I lost the client as soon as I was not able to provide them with what they needed. I just met with a new client that wants an e-commerce website for selling calendars, this is a Mom & Pop with a very low profit based item and limited to 3 months in sales, they need an affordable solution.
My suggestion for price range would be a tiered price scheduled based off of features. Make the base store affordable then charge for feature enrichment, this would provide the Mom & Pop websites a basic store and the larger corporations would pay for the added features.
That just my 2 cents on pricing, speaking of my 2 cents… a feature my client has requested is that when items are selected that the buyer can add a ship to and special note for each item being purchased. Is this something you can do?
