After file synchronisation my portal logos vanish and I have only jj as folder left 

I have considerable problem, which is next:

I have switched synchronize filesystem on in version 4.5.5. Now all portal logos disappear. Reselecting is not possible since only jj is shown as file directory in portal settings. In the file managers I see more directories..but those are not shown as selectable folders in my portal settings.

What is wrong. Is this a bug in 4.5.5?

Any advice is appreciated.

Unhappely I cannot upgrade to 4.8.1 if that would be the solution....:-(.

yes, this is a known issue in DNN 4.5.x-4.8.0. Turn of schdules fileSync and use automatic filesync (enable in host settings) instead with extra performing a manual recursive sync in admin :: filemanager, if folders have been added/renamed/deleted via FTP or Windows FileSystem.

Hi,

This works for 3 portals, but not for 4 other portals. The jj remains..in one portal it complains about rights and does not allow me to upload the logo.

Any ideas? Is this solved in 4.8.1 by the way...

you might need to grand edit permission in Admin :: File Manager for the appropriate directory.

I added view permissions to all users.
