Proper encoding for RESX file

Hi,

I use DNN in Poland so I use polish language pack. My files that contain polish translation of DNN resources are encoded with  UTF-8 (Codepage 65001). However when I receive e-mail (for example user registration e-mail) wich contents are stored in GlobaLResources.pl-PL.resx file I cann't see polish national characters - I see &*^%$# instead. Do tyou know what can I do with it?

Regards rypki

Re: Proper encoding for RESX file

Which DNN version are you using?

obviously email is sent using a different encoding, this is not necessarily dependent on the resource files!

Current version of my DNN is 04.05.05. If the encoding in resx file is not the point, then maybe I should ask my Exchange provider?

Re: Proper encoding for RESX file

the problem might be the email component in DotNetNuke - I haven't had time yet, to verify handling of encoding in this area of the core code yet.
