User-generated links 

Hi,

I need a module, where the users can uploade links (to other sites).

I want them to uploade links to different news stories - and it would also be nice, if other users then could comment on the stories.

Where do I find this kind of module?

Using UserDefinedTable module, you can easily create an Upload repository, where each user can edit his own records, consisting of caption and URL for example. Unfortunately commenting option has not yet been added to this module. I am currently not aware of a module, which completely fits your requirements.

You could use the Blog module for this.  Though I can see this getting way out of hand, as in:
