HELP Restore DNN problem

Well, it happened.  Server crashed and the backup of the SQL database is old.  Best we could do was to get a backup from early 2007 to finally restore.  We have been able to get DNN 4.8.2 installed and the portals are fine (except that they have old content). We do have the actual database files from early 2008, but for some reason it wont convert from SQL 2000 to SQL2005.  We do have all the file structure content from the site, it's just the database that we'd like to get back.  Any ideas on the best way to try and recreate the site to current?

Re: HELP Restore DNN problem

Do you have the ability to connect the SQL2k files to a SQL2k database server and do a backup from those? Then restore that backup to the SQL2k5 machine?
